Dolphins Swim Club - Guildford and Woking
Dolphins Swim Scheme
Dolphins swim sessions are friendly and open to anyone who feels their physical or mental health would benefit from joining.
No referral is needed. Carers, friends and family members are also welcome. Carers who wish to swim to take a break from their care role are welcome to swim alone.
The sessions are designed to be sociable and everyone is made to feel comfortable. They also make sure the water is a comfortable temperature. All swim abilities are catered for.
Class Schedule:
- Tuesdays (term-time): Woking Pool in the Park, 12:15pm to 1:45pm
- Friday evenings: Woking Pool in the Park, 7:30pm to 8:30pm (with wave machine and other facilities)
- Fridays: Surrey Sports Park, Guildford, 11:45am to 12:45pm
Benefits:
- Increased fitness and weight loss
- Improved mental health through a weekly activity in a friendly atmosphere
Volunteering:
The Dolphins are always looking for more volunteers to help people enjoy a peaceful time in the pool. Experience in care is helpful but not essential. Volunteers find the experience rewarding and do not need to commit to helping every week.
Contact Information:
If you would like to join one of the Dolphins Swim Scheme sessions as a participant or volunteer, please contact Cliff Bush at 07752 054370
The first week is free. There is a small cost for following sessions.
