Hersham Centre for the Community
Elmbridge Borough Council
Elmbridge Borough Council operates seven Centres for the Community across Elmbridge, which aim to promote an active and full life for elderly or disabled residents.
These centres provide a range of leisure activities and opportunities to learn new skills. Activities on offer include art and craft classes, iPad training, hairdressing, beauty treatments, reflexology and aromatherapy, organised trips, exercise classes, three-course lunches, and a tea bar with a selection of cakes and sandwiches.
To use the facilities at a centre, you need to hold a valid community discount card. The cards are available from any Elmbridge Centre for the Community and also entitle you to discounts at selected retailers throughout the borough.
Once you have purchased a valid community discount card, you are not restricted to just one centre but can use the facilities of all seven.
Hersham Centre is an accessible community venue that provides facilities for people with physical impairments.
The Hersham Centre is open on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 10am to 3pm.
