Introduction and disclaimer
Agreement to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions is deemed to occur upon your first use of Connect to Support Surrey. If you do not agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, you should stop using the Connect to Support Surrey immediately.
Surrey County Council owns and operates the directory Connect to Support Surrey and is referred to in parts of the contractual documentation as ‘the Authority’.
Connect to Support Surrey will provide a single online location at which visitors can search for care and support services available in the county of Surrey and utilise other functions within Connect to Support Surrey as they are made available.
Surrey County Council reserves the right to change the terms and conditions by posting the changes online. Your continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of this agreement as modified.
Access to some parts of the Connect to Support Surrey directory or the entire directory, may be denied or restricted from time to time. Surrey County Council is entitled to withdraw or amend the services provided on Connect to Support Surrey without notice. Whilst Surrey County Council will use reasonable endeavours to provide uninterrupted availability Surrey County Council will not be liable if Connect to Support Surrey, or any part of it, is unavailable at any time or for any period. Should Surrey County Council receive any complaint with regard to third party material on Connect to Support Surrey, we will review the matter and remove material at our sole discretion. Surrey County Council will have no further liability to either party in such instance.
Surrey County Council are not responsible for the contents or the reliability of third-party websites linked to or from Connect to Support Surrey, and do not necessarily endorse any views expressed within them.

Adding an entry
Connect to Support Surrey reserves full discretion as to which organisations will be listed in the directory and is under no obligation to list any organisation.
The main aim of the website is to provide information and advice to help adults in Surrey to live independently.
To be listed, an organisation must:
- support the aim of the website
- offer services or information to Surrey residents
Priority will be given to local services and community organisations. Connect to Support Surrey is not intended to replace other sources of information about local businesses. Entries from ethical, legal businesses will be considered if they support the aim of the Website and support 'social capital', meaning that they offer services that contribute directly to the quality of people's lives, empowering them to live independently and healthily, for example helping to connect people with social networks.
Connect to Support Surrey reserves the right to remove any organisation listing at its discretion. Listings may be removed if, for example, the organisation fails to respond to a request for updated information, or the listing no longer fits with the scope or purpose of the website.
