Surrey Coalition of Disabled People is the voice of disabled people in and around Surrey. They support disabled people and people with long term health conditions. They help you get involved and stay connected.
They do this through six main areas.
Getting involved:
- groups meet with health, social care and community partners
- they share views and work together to improve services
Technology:
- the team helps you get online
- they help you use your device if you need support
Physical activity:
- you can get one to one advice to help you get active
- you can find local activities near you
- you can join a monthly meet up
Mental health
- people with lived experience and carers work with the NHS and social care
- they help improve mental health support
Campaigning:
- you can raise concerns
- you can support positive change for disabled people
Keeping you connected:
- you can join social activities like book club, glee club, a virtual café, virtual trips and craft club
- you can hear about local events you can join
