Family, close friends and carers are important and need their own space and time to deal with the affects of being with and caring for someone with a brain injury.
Peer support and lived experience coupled with Rehabilitation Team advice and strategies may be the perfect solution for you.
The course is designed specifically for families and carers of adults who have sustained an acquired brain injury - either traumatic brain injury (TBI) road traffic incident, sports injury, work injury, assault, trip, falls and slips or other types of acquired brain injury (ABI) such as stroke, encephalitis, meningitis, aneurysm, tumour and hypoxia.
