Better Health Mind & Body CIC provides free 12 week physical activity courses, taking place twice a week for adults 45 years and over. The program is ideal for those looking to prevent or manage long term conditions through physical activity. Courses take place in community settings and locations without easy access to a local gym. Designed to be inclusive and for everyone to start their physical activity journey together.
Community settings offer the opportunity for participants to engage in physical wellness especially if they are unlikely to be comfortable in joining a gym. In groups of up to 20 people you will receive professional and on-going instruction, demonstration and coaching for strength training using body weight, dumbbells, plus cardio training and flexibility or stretching all incorporating balance.
Alongside health and wellbeing, nutritional advice and tips are discussed to utilise in combination with physical activity for the best and optimal outcomes for body and mind.
Sessions are currently running in Ashtead & Cobham. Courses in Dorking and Epsom coming soon.
