Purple Angel Ambassadors are a small group of local volunteers who make a positive difference to the quality of life of people living with dementia and their carers and families.

Spelthorne Dementia Support is the local charity, covering mainly the borough of Spelthorne. They offer support for people living with dementia and their families and/or carers.

Their services include:

  • a memory cafe
  • morning coffee for carers
  • day trips
  • a buddy scheme - giving carers a break
  • dementia workshops
  • GPS locators (run by Runnymede Council)
