Community Alarm Epsom and Ewell

Epsom and Ewell Borough Council

The Community Alarm (also known as a pendent alarm) service from Epsom and Ewell Borough Council is a way for elderly or vulnerable residents to get help in an emergency at the touch of a button.

The alarm unit can easily be installed in a person's home and comes with a wearable pendant.

Pressing the pendant activates the alarm, which automatically calls a care centre.

The caller can then speak through a loudspeaker to a specially trained operator, who will respond to their needs and organise appropriate assistance. Care centres are staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
