The service was founded by Consultant Clinical Psychologist Dr Heather Naylor, a specialist eating disorders psychologist, who believes in the importance of offering effective and empathic care, and brings years of experience of working with eating disorders to Surrey.

Eating disorders and body image concerns can have such an impact on people's lives. They can affect how you feel, how you look, your relationships, and how you live your life. It is also common to have struggled for a long time before you seek help and, sadly, it can be hard to access the right sort of treatment in a timely manner.
