Merrist Wood Volunteer Gardening Project

The Merrist Wood volunteer gardening project lets people garden in small groups at their fantastic campus. It's a chance to connect with others, learn new skills and improve wellbeing.

The project is open to those who:

• are on a low income
• receive state benefits
• struggle with wellbeing
• are over 65
• are single parents
• feel lonely
• have a disability
• are carers
• are from an ethnic minority

Equipment is provided. Volunteers just need to wear sturdy shoes and bring gloves if they have them.
