Surrey Heath Age Concern (SHAC)
Surrey Heath Age Concern is an independent, local charity working in the borough of Surrey Heath. They aim to provide services to enhance the lives of older people in the borough of Surrey Heath and help them to overcome social isolation and loneliness.
All residents of the borough can request help directly and their services are drawn upon by local social prescribers from both the NHS and local authorities.
Their services are free to all users.
Services they provide:
- visiting and befriending service
- The Rainbow Cafe in Camberley town centre
- Men's Breakfast Club
- Sing Along Bingo
- Tea and Memories held on Tuesday afternoons at the Rainbow Cafe
