Silver Friends

Silver Friends help lonely and isolated elderly people. They believe no one should be lonely, especially when they are older.

Here are some things Silver Friends does, with help from their volunteers:

• trips to garden centres, National Trust sites, the seaside and more
• events at sheltered and independent living places, like quizzes, teas and other fun activities
• special lunches with live entertainment, such as Christmas, Easter and high tea events
• home visits for people who can't go out to the trips or events
• local directory service for finding cleaners, gardeners, maintenance and more
