Guildford Cathedral is an Anglican place of worship in Guildford, offering guided tours, art exhibitions, activities and events open to the public. The Cathedral is committed to being accessible to all and offer the following facilities and services:

  • wheelchair access to the Cathedral ground floor via a ramp at the West entrance
  • wheelchair lift available at the North Door
  • wheelchairs available within the Cathedral
  • induction loop (not available in the West Gallery)
  • large print hymn books, orders of service and news sheets
  • disabled toilet opposite the shop
  • wheelchair access to Seasons Café and Restaurant, Shop and toilets, clearly marked, from the passage to the University beside the Cathedral Offices

There are some steps in the Cathedral. If you are visiting with accessibility needs, please call ahead and the Cathedral can make the necessary arrangements to make your visit as enjoyable as possible.

Parking options for visitors with accessibility needs:

  • all visitors may park free for up to two hours
  • you may stay for up to four hours by visiting the shop or Café and entering your number plate into the dedicated console
  • for an extended visit, please call ahead and let the Cathedral know your number plate and they will arrange this for you
