Oakleaf is a mental health charity in Guildford that offers vocational training courses and social-inclusion activities to build confidence, reduce isolation and help clients return to work.
The charity provides:
- vocational training in upholstery, gardening and IT
- a wide range of activities and courses to build confidence, skills, and wellbeing
- counselling services
To become a client, you must:
- be an adult of working age (16 to 67)
- be interested in:
- Developing work-related skills
- Reducing isolation
- Participating in activities to gain confidence and skills
- Looking after your mental health and wellbeing
Oakleaf also offers wellbeing activities and counselling services.
Oakleaf is the base for the Guildford Safe Haven, a drop-in service for anyone experiencing a mental health crisis. It is open from 6pm to 11pm, 365 days a year.
Clients can self-refer for Oakleaf services or be referred by their GP, psychiatrist or key worker.
