Independent Skills Course - Guildford Library

The Independent Skills Project is a set of 8 courses delivered in partnership with local community organisations to inform people of the support available to them. It is aimed at those who are struggling with certain aspects of their daily lives such as money, emotional wellbeing and social isolation.

To make a referral, you can ask a member of library staff to make a referral on your behalf. You can also phone the Surrey County Council Community Helpline on 0300 200 1008.

Wednesday: 10:30am to 12:30pm
Special Requirements
- The library is on 4 floors with the ground floor on 3 levels linked by ramps and there is a wheelchair accessible lift between floors.
- The library also has a rollator or walker for use in the library and staff are happy to obtain stock where access is difficult.
- The library has a automatic doors and a hearing loop is installed. It has assistive technology for people with disabilities.
- There are two disabled spaces outside the front of the library.
