New digital support for unpaid carers

Surrey County Council and the NHS have launched a new online carers' community with Mobilise. Funded by a government grant, the project aims to improve support for unpaid carers in Surrey. The service provides easy access to digital information, advice, and support resources in addition the council's existing Surrey carers services.

This new service helps carers who hesitate to contact adult social care or who find traditional services hard to access. Carers can get advice, information, and join an online community. They share experiences, ask questions, and get support from peers.
