Planning For Your Future events for 2025

Age UK Surrey, in partnership with Surrey County Council, is hosting Planning for Your Future events across the county from January to March. These events help people plan ahead to live the life they want.

The campaign encourages early discussions about future care and support preferences, understanding support options, the importance of financial planning and making the right decisions in times of crisis.

Feedback has been excellent:

98% found the events helpful
90% felt more confident to start a conversation with someone they trust
89% would recommend the events to others
88% learned something new
72% were prompted to start making plans

These events are aimed at self-funders, carers and care arrangers. Professionals are encouraged to direct people to local events. More sessions are being planned for staff working in health and care.
