Use personal alarms for emergency help
Personal alarms let you call for help if you fall, feel unwell or need urgent support. They’re easy to wear and can alert a response team, carer or family member.
They are often worn as:
- a pendant
- a wristband
- a device placed somewhere easy to reach
Some alarms include fall sensors or GPS tracking.

Free fire safety checks
Surrey Fire and Rescue Service offers free Safe and Well checks to help you stay safe at home.
They can:
- check your smoke alarms
- give fire safety advice
- help you plan how to escape in an emergency
